My experience of trying to 'find...I sooo agree. My experience of trying to 'find something else to support my art' has never proven workable.

By spending money on insolvent art is a hobbie (which is okay). When I started thinking as a professional my career has taken a turn for the better.

Today, I got great news from a studio owner who is going to record me on spec (speculation my music will sell). A guitarist that loves the tunes and wants to play live gigs... A pianist/back-up singer who has committed to playing live and in the studio and a very prominent entertainment attorney that has accepted me as a client... Tomorrow I meet with a talent agent who already has suggested signing contracts after hearing my old demos on MySpace.com/BradfordJordan.

This all came from shifting my viewpoint of the value of my talent. Of course it took many years to find my true voice so it wasn't just because I wished it. Hopefully the market will feel the same as the professionals I am being surrounded by currently.

peace!
B)
BradfordJordanBradfordJordanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01328154720031121651noreply@blogger.com
